Alanya Hotels - Turkey

Alanya lies directly on the mediterranean sea in Turkey, 130 kms from Antalya airport and most of our hotels are located along the beach between Side and Alanya in small towns called Okurcalar, Incekum and Konakli. Since the hotels within Alanya city are not on the beach, we prefer resorts (located along the road to Alanya) that have their own private beachfronts. Should you wish to visit Alanya, it is easy to catch frequent buses day and night with 15-30 minutes drive.

The first tourists came to Alanya in the 20's, but the resort became particularly popular in the early 80's. The city is famous, amongst other things, for its Alanya castle, 250 meters above sea level, which was built to repel unwanted attacks in the 6th and 7th centuries. As well as providing a rich diverse range of shops, bazaars and restaurants, Alanya is full of churches, monuments, castles and fortresses, which are marvellously preserved and open to the public. The archeological museum shows exhibits from 7th century BC, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Republic times. There are numerous other museums and ancient ruins accessable to the public.
